Helena (Glória Pires) is married to an advertising agent Cláudio (Tony Ramos) for about 20 years. Despite the traditional marital problems, the couple seems happy. An astral conjunction is responsible for the exchange of bodies between the two: the personality of Helena enters the body of Claudio, and vice versa. Without knowing how to reverse the situation, the two must learn to live as the other and thus find that it is not easy to be a person of the opposite sex

Lazaro Ramos delivers a subtle and unique performance in The Man Who Copied, a sweetly quirky work that tells a story of love, art, robbery and photocopying. Andre (Ramos) is a bored copy machine operator who leaves work every night to return home and draw comic book art; there his artistic fantasies transport him to a perfect world with a beautiful wife and lots of money. He also peeps out his bedroom window into the home of Slvia (Leandra Leal), an 18-year-old clothing store salesgirl who lives with her father. But the movie bursts into a full sprint the very moment Lazaro's boss buys a color printer and the element of half-hazard crime kicks in. The funniest thing is that everything stems from a sort of innocent crush that he has on the girl in the other building and how he just wants to meet her.
This film tackles a serious and current theme that blends good-humored romanticism, poignant social observations and exciting criminal actions.

Doris may be middle-aged and widowed, but she doesn’t lack for suitors. Steady customers Freitas and Otavio always seem to be dinning at her small restaurant, each with their own desire for her attention. They may be a bit long in the tooth, but love and romance are blind to dates on birth certificates. Unfortunately, so is jealousy. When competition for Doris’s heart heats up the rivals’ long-time friendship is put to a serious test.
After the ball is a contemplative film, with excellent photography and surrounding landscape, found in the beautiful city of Belo Horizonte. It is worth slowing down the routine of modern life and let it engage in the history of love and friendship.
